Selling and moving with young children
Young children may not completely understand moving.
Keep explanations simple and use language they understand.
Try to keep their routines with no showings around their bedtimes.
Pack their bedrooms and play areas last and unpack them first.
Keep them involved if they are old enough to help pack or move small items.
If they are moving away from friends or transferring to another school, help them find a way to say their goodbyes.
